Bridal ‘yazma’ (headscarf) from the Bursa - Bilecik region. Ca. 1925-1950. Red cotton fabric, embroidered in ‘tel kırma’-technique: motives obtained by sticking narrow metallic strips (often silver) through the fabric and folding them. The motifs obtained are identical on both sides of the fabric. Edged with twisted metallic thread, combined with metal sequins. (Inv.n° yaz119 - Kavak Collection,Antwerpen/Belgium).
