Very rarely seen bracelet of silver with finely carved three dimensional workmanship. In very high silver content, this bracelet is from Madras , Tamil Nadu, 19th c x Vanderstaete collection see figure 578 for similar in Traditional Jewelry of India page 254.

Could it be relataed to makara bracelets ? found in north India?

The workmanship on this is very different from the northern ones however the use of the Makara is the same so the relation is through the use of similar design and religious elements.
