  • Hi Karim, I have exactly the same bracelet. I have been told that it was made by jewish craftsmen about 100 years ago and it's copper coated with silver. Do you have any more information about it?

  • Hi Svetlana, thanks for your comment. To the best of my knowledge this Berber bracelet comes from the region of Tiznit (you can tell because of yellow/green enamel) It is not of jewish heritage but pure berber. You can scratch it as you please and you'll find only fine silver... no copper no brass. As for age.. I'say 60/80 years old, the enamel is too nice to be older than that;  but this is always tricky to ascertain. From whom and where did you buy yours? cheers Karim

  • Hi Karim, thanks for info. I bought mine in a small village at Atlas mountains. We have few other berber pieces, I will try to post pictures over the weekend. 

  • I like this bracelet , it has the red enamel dowry marks on it.
