These are wider than your other ones, I bought some like these in a "Yemen" necklace. Strange as it is! But the necklace was a "put what ever you can find together in one necklace" kind of thing.
These I did not see in Oman. Can they be Afghan ?
These are great beads Akkie and a very nicely composed picture - I love using them in necklaces.
In Ethiopia they use these beads (one) by keeping a number of long strings of silver Jimma beads together.(worn as a sjerp, across the shoulder).
