Two ways of wearing the üçetek (robe with three panels) of the bridal costume from the Aydın-Ödemiş area. Late-Ottoman, urban (small city) style, ca. 1900. Top pictures: both front panels are pulled up, revealing the embroideries on the ‘göynek’ (chemise). Bottom pictures: they are hanging down, hiding the chemise.
