Ayis, the round beads remind me very much of your posting!
Absolutely Hillary, i was hesistant to add a paragraph to my original article to highlight the sheer similarity between the beads i posted and those of ivory cost and ghana.
I am quite sure they were traded across the sahara as well or that preislamic Mali (tombuctu) gold beads were linked to these coming from the gulf of guinea
