stunning! congratulations Jasmineium, warm regards, zhanna
Hi Zhanna, Thank you for your comments. Lovely to hear from you again.
Dear Jasmine, a beautiful piece which looks very solid and imposing. How much does it weigh? Do you know who might wear this ... a bride, for instance?
Dear Thelma, Thank you for your comments. There is a very similar amulet box listed on Page 127, Traditional Jewelry of India, Oppi Untracht on a chain. The dimensions for my amulet box are: Height: 5.5cm (2 1/4") including Bale , Width: 12.5cm (4 3/4" ), Weight: 106 Grams (3.74 oz.). This amulet box could possibly have been a central unit in a marriage necklace. I have uploaded another photo to show how the box unscrews at one end for the insertion of protective objects. Regards, Jasmineium
