Silver Enamel and Bone Bracelet

I don't know much about this bracelet. I'm guessing India and I know that the bone was henna-ed. Would welcome more information!

  • Yes India, the heads are elephants and the bone is ivory.

  • Thank you Marie Ange. Were they always made with ivory ? I can't see cross hatching on it

  • To my knowlodge these older ones were always made of ivory.

  • Poor elephants! Thank you Marie-Ange.

  • Hmmm.... to me the enamelling has rather a chinese aspect to it.

The ivory is likely to be indian, I guess. Really nice, wherever it hails from.

  • I was about to say "Well, the seller seems to think it`s Indian" when I realised......!

I`ve had it tucked in my cart!

Most of these hennaed bracelets are from India. But they`re mostly bone and, as these don`t display cross hatching, perhaps we don`t have to worry about elephants.

  • Thank you Frankie for setting my mind at ease!

  • beautiful
