Silver, IndiaDescription:This bracelet with lion heads ( originaly a scythian motive that came from Persia) were probably worn only by chiefs in early times; gradually like in this case, these lion heads have been replaced by "makhara"(mythologic indian aquatic animal pattern) then by dragon ones (chinese influence). The heavy ones were considered as investment ( often for the wedding celebration).Very nice patina...nice twists design and nice granulations...Weight:128,3grDiameter::Int : 2,36inchwww.halter-ethnic.com
