Very impressive and elegant, Bianca. From Tunisia?
TUNISIA Jerba Collana in argento dorato su nastro di tapparella, molto comune nel Sud, a partire da Sfax. Si trova anche in Libia e in Egitto.
Lovely elegant piece.
Very impressive indeed. well crafted details as is normally the case with these pieces which are normally worn in weddings and special events only not on a daily basis. type with similar details are also worn in Libya. Congratulations for the beautiful piece.
Gorgeous, I just imagine how it would look worn, must look splendid.
We don't see these much here in states. i wish we did, this is an excellent example.
This is an 'Lebba' . Worn in Tunisia and Libya. Judging from some of the pendants it looks quite old. One pendant is hallmarked in Tripoli. Very impressive indeed...
