Help with - Asian "Stilt" Shoes in Green and Black Silk with Embroidery

Caring for old glass patina
I just bought some gorgeous, long buried glass beads. They have a thick, uneven, iridescent patina. Can anyone tell me how to care for these beads? I'd heard it's important to keep them dry. I'll post a photo if I can. Thanks!
