Hi Sarah,
this one looks odd to me....the design is likely other bangles I bought in South-Morocco, but I never have seen it made other than from silver, while this one may be brass or bronze....and the quality of the work seems to be poorly in comparison to the silver ones!?
Could it be a trainee piece from a silver smith? I hope something likely cross your ways during your travels and you can tell me more about region, age or whatever comes up...
Thanks in advance...
Uwe

Hi Uwe,
the designs seem to be Tuareg to me, Maybe Mali ...
The Tuareg do use many metals, the Saharwi in Morocco however prefer silver, so maybe this is why it is more familiar to you, as I know you spend a lot of time within Saharwi areas.
the crafting is not the finest, maybe made rurally to replicate something grander seen elsewhere??
I shall post one of the images to the photos section where more people will be likely to see it. this should attract other opinions too!
Warm wishes
Sarah
Hi Uwe,
Great to find you here!! I hope that you are really well my friend.
Certainly not Morocco as far as my experiences there would find... I am tempted to say Fulani/ Mali as a first impression, but let me investigate a while and get back to you.
Warm wishes
Sarah
