A while back, someone had a mystery bracelet posted. While browsing Patti's recommended reading on the Nubian website, I came across a similar-styled bracelet:

Loin was a symbol of power and might in almost all the ancient clutures, especially in Ancient Egypt there was a Goddess named sakhem or somthing like that which had a Loin head and body of a human. She was known for her merciless revenge against enemies. Also there was a cat cult in ancient egypt that was worshipped. Because of the Cat cult in ancient egypt if any body killed a cat he/she was punished for commiting this sin. So all the old jewelry depicting the loin is influenced by the same ancient conceptualization of Loins/Leapords/cats. They are used as a symbol of might and power.
