Hi there. I have this Middle Eastern necklace that I would love to know more about and possibly it's age. Made with turquois and coral stones, the glass like stones are a mystery to me. Any additional information will be appreciated.

I do not think it is authentic. It is a modern variation by a local jewelry artist, but has its own decorative appeal.
Where was it bought?
To me the medallion with its` pale turquoise looks Chinese. I agree with Patti about the Uzbek seeming dangles.
Definitely a marriage of more than two partners.
Unfortunately no one can comment on the metal content without testing it!!
Metal content is variable through time and the means of the buyer!!
But as a thumb of rule, the more intricate, jeweled and refined a jewel is, the more likely it would be made using high silver content material!!
The spiral chains are very Uzbeki. The turquoise is not Persian nor Afghani ( color is too pale).
Very interesting.
I don't feel it is early!!
Never do we see coral chunks used on old pieces and the lower spirals is kinda a shoddy work!
That medallion is very "art deco" in a way but the container is definetely middle eastern
Glass stones seem to be garnets ?
This looks like a melange, do you know the age?
